Custom Furnishings in Harmony with Historical Architecture

One of the greatest challenges of this project was adapting to the building’s historic structure—its old walls, unique shapes, and arched designs. We were also tasked with creating modern furniture that would visually and materially align with the centuries-old character of the building, using oak veneer to echo its heritage.
We designed and built new furniture for the offices and abbot’s living quarters, as well as custom pieces for the dining area, gift shop, and the warm chapel section of the church. Each room had to be individually planned and tailored to specific requirements to ensure that the abbot’s vision was realized—blending comfort and functionality within a historically respectful design.
